You already know because you're here, but we've revamped the whole thing. Hopefully we've made it easier to navigate and to know exactly what you're looking it. The guys at Enthios did this for us free of charge, so thanks to them!
Currently people have to email us to get the password to the test database. This was good as it prevented bad, automated internet robots destroying our database. We've changing of all that today. We've beefed up our security (thanks to the guys at oxyuktechnologies) and we can make it an automatic login. Tell everyone, remember the more users, the more resources we can dedicate to the project.
So you don't want to keep having to jump back to the summary page to find out how many members you have attending a session. Nor do you want to have to keep counting. The sessions page now has a handy little counter of attendees that updates live with the webpage. Simple, but useful!
We're forever coming up with more information that you might want to store. This time it's courses your members have been on, and any qualifications they might get. Coming in under the new "Courses and Qualifications" section you can add these on a member-by-member basis. This information is also stored with the member so you can quickly see what qualifications they have and whether they're still valid, as well as any notes you want to store with the award. You can create unlimited "standard" courses / qualifications so you can quickly pull out the one you need from the list.
Some of you have them, some of you don't. It's a way to change the level of your particpants. You can create grading events, score people, award results and make notes. It's a great way to have a permanent record of how and when people advance. Whether it's going from a yellow belt to an orange belt, or a semi-pro to a pro, or even when they go from being a seconder to a sixer (elves!!) you can now store, retrieve and summarise this information.
One of the most common improvements we get asked for is the ability to take income not at a session. Well now you can. Someone hands you £20 on the way home, someone pays by bank transfer, it's all catered for. Of course it'll go into your monthly/weekly accounts as well making your record keeping just that little bit easier.
